難聴 耳鳴り

耳鳴や、突発性難聴は、明らかな原因もないのにある日突然、通常は、片耳が急に聞こえが悪くなる病気です。多くの場合、片耳だけに起こります。全く聞こえなくなる重度なものから、耳が詰まった感じ（耳閉感）のみの軽度なものまでさまざまなタイプがあります。ウィルス感染や、内耳の血流の循環障害などが原因ではないかと言われておりますが、現時点では原因不明な疾患です。
3人に1人は完治しますが、3分の１はある程度の改善まで、残りの3分の１は聴力の改善がみられない難治性の疾患です。発症し、早い段階で適切な治療を受ければ症状が改善する確率も高くなりますのでなるべく早く受診することが重要です。耳鳴り、突発性難聴の発症には、ストレス、過労、睡眠不足、不規則な生活などが引き金となるなどと言われております。安静にして、ストレスを軽減するなどの生活上の注意が必要になります。

Tinnitus, or sudden hearing loss, is a sudden loss of hearing in one ear, usually one day, without any apparent cause. Often it occurs in only one ear. There are different types of hearing loss, ranging from severe, where the person loses all hearing, to mild, where the person only has a feeling of being blocked (otorrhea). The cause of the disease is unknown at present, although it is believed to be due to a viral infection or a circulatory disturbance of the blood flow in the inner ear.
One in three patients will recover completely, but one third will only improve to some degree, while the remaining third will have an intractable disease with no improvement in hearing. It is important to see a doctor as soon as possible after the onset of the disease, as the earlier the patient receives appropriate treatment, the greater the chance of symptom improvement. Stress, overwork, lack of sleep and irregular lifestyle are said to trigger the onset of tinnitus and sudden hearing loss. It is necessary to take precautions in daily life, such as resting and reducing stress.
Acupuncture and moxibustion treatment can improve the function of the nerves and lymph in the inner ear by applying acupuncture needles and moxibustion to acupuncture points related to the ear, and can also reduce blood circulation disorders by regulating blood circulation.
