糖尿病の合併症のひとつとして足の病変（糖尿病足病変）があります。今症例は、６０代、男性、冠動脈狭窄症、狭心症、糖尿病の患者さんです。動脈硬化などで足の血流が悪くなり、足の浮腫みと、足関節部分の皮膚が紫色に変色していました。動脈硬化により、必要な血液や酸素が、足に行き渡っていない状態でした。このままでは、血流の悪化から壊疽（えそ）まで進んでしまう危険性もあります。今症例の糖尿病患者さんも、足の血流障害から、足先の痛みや熱さ・冷たさを感じにくく、足の爪水虫にもなりやすく、皮膚が乾燥してひび割れていました。治療としては、当院のオリジナルのバラのマッサージオイルで、フットケアを続けて、浮腫みの減少、紫色の皮膚の変色の減少など、血行促進の効果を感じて頂く事ができました。糖尿病で、神経障害や動脈硬化などがあると、血流障害をおこし、結果、さまざまな異常が足に出やすくなります。治療院としては、糖尿病足病変の進行を防止するためにも、足に傷を作らないよう細心の注意をはらいながら、フットケアを行うことで糖尿病足病変を予防する治療をおこなっています。バラの香りのマッサージには神経の緊張やストレスを緩和し、気持ちをポジティブにする作用があります。
One of the complications of diabetes mellitus is lesions of the feet (diabetic foot lesions). The present case is a male patient in his 60s with coronary artery stenosis, angina pectoris, and diabetes mellitus. Blood flow in his feet was reduced due to arteriosclerosis and other factors, resulting in edema of the feet and purple discoloration of the skin at the ankle joints. Due to arteriosclerosis, necessary blood and oxygen were not being supplied to the legs. If this situation continues, there is a risk of gangrene due to the deterioration of blood flow. The diabetic patient in the present case also had difficulty feeling pain, heat, or cold in her toes due to impaired blood flow to her feet, was prone to toenail athlete's foot, and had dry, cracked skin. As treatment, we continued foot care with our original rose massage oil, and the patient was able to feel the effects of improved blood circulation, including decreased edema and purple skin discoloration. Diabetes, neuropathy, and arteriosclerosis can cause blood flow disorders, and as a result, various abnormalities can easily appear on the feet. In order to prevent the progression of diabetic foot lesions, the clinic provides treatment to prevent diabetic foot lesions by providing foot care while taking great care not to cause wounds on the feet. Rose-scented massage has the effect of easing nervous tension and stress and making one feel positive.
