捻挫の古傷
Old sprain injury
足首の捻挫はスポーツのみならず、日常生活でもよく起こる怪我(外傷)の一つです。ひどい捻挫の場合は靭帯の部分断裂・足首の骨折も発生する場合もあり、初期の怪我の程度の判断が非常に大切です。また、軽い捻挫の場合だと病院や接骨院に行かず、湿布や冷やす程度の自己流の処置で放置して自然に治るのを待つ方もいます。しかし、腫れや痛みがある場合は足首の中の関節や組織を傷めているのです。たとえ炎症が収まり痛みが少なくなっても、関節の動く範囲が狭まったりして再び捻挫してしまったり、冬などに痛む「古傷が痛む」状態になりやすいのです。足首は体重が常に乗る「荷重関節」と呼ばれる関節です。足元に痛みや不具合が生じると、身体全体に影響を及ぼします。捻挫した古傷が痛んだ場合は速やかに治療に復帰することで大切です。放置しておいても改善しませんし、放置しているうちに加齢変性も加わり。さらに捻挫の古傷がでやすくなります
