Monstera Moxa Back Pain

アロハ柄の代表的なモチーフのひとつとして知られているモンステラ。そのとおり、南国リゾートを思わせる見た目ですね。株元から放射状に伸びた、深い切れ込みや穴のある葉が最大の特徴で、そのユニークな見た目から、ラテン語のmonstrum（奇怪・怪物）が学名の語源となっています。高温には強い植物なので、腰痛時に、温度の高くなるお灸を葉の上に乗せると、いつもより、長めに腰を温めることができます。

The Monstera is known as one of the most typical motifs of the Aloha pattern. That's right, it has a look reminiscent of a tropical resort. Its most distinctive feature is its deeply lobed and pitted leaves that radiate from the base of the plant. Because of its unique appearance, the Latin word monstrum (strange, monstrous) is the origin of its scientific name. The plant is tolerant of high temperatures, so when you have back pain, you can warm your back longer than usual by placing moxa, which has a higher temperature, on the leaves.
