首、肩、背中にコリとハリを感じで重だるい症状に対して施術いたしました。背中から肩にかけてはコリがひどくなってしまう部位です。背中は自分一人ではアプローチがしづらいこともあって、ついつい放置しがち。日常動作や、立ち座り、歩いたり走ったり、階段の昇り降りをしたり、寝ているだけでも、背中には意外と負担が溜まっていきます。背中が凝ってしまう原因として、姿勢の悪さがあります。たとえばデスクワークで、パソコンに長い時間向かっていると、ついつい前屈みの姿勢になってしまい、結果的に慢性的な猫背から背中にコリやハリがせてきます。スマホも前傾姿勢となりがちで、結果背中に負担がかかる姿勢ですね。

背中だけでなく全身をくまなく巡っているリンパ管は、主に体内から出た老廃物や余分な水分などを吸収して、静脈に流してくれる器官です。しかし、リンパ管は身体のコリなどですぐに流れが悪くなって滞ってしまいがちです。

I treated a symptom of stiffness and heaviness in the neck, shoulders, and back. The back and shoulders are the areas where stiffness becomes worse. The back tends to be neglected because it is difficult to approach on one's own. Daily activities, standing, sitting, walking, running, going up and down stairs, and even sleeping can put a surprising amount of strain on the back. One of the most common causes of back stiffness is poor posture. For example, if you work at a desk and spend a lot of time at a computer, you tend to bend forward, resulting in a chronic hunched posture that causes stiffness and stiffness in the back. Smartphones also tend to cause a forward leaning posture, which results in a posture that puts a strain on the back.

Lymphatic vessels, which run not only through the back but throughout the entire body, are organs that absorb waste products and excess water from the body and drain them into the veins. However, lymphatic vessels tend to become sluggish and stagnant quickly due to stiffness in the body.

If areas such as the back and shoulders are left in the same position for long periods of time without movement or regular care, the lymphatic flow can quickly deteriorate. Unlike arteries and blood vessels that are connected to the heart, the lymphatic system is not pumped by the heart. Therefore, the speed of lymphatic flow is naturally quite slow. When stiffness in the back becomes severe and the flow of lymph becomes slow, even the slow flow of lymph becomes even slower. This causes the accumulation of waste matter that would normally flow slowly but steadily. Since this waste is a substance that is superfluous or unnecessary to the body, it becomes a burden to the body if it remains in the body indefinitely.
